The College of Islamic Sciences /University of Sulaimani Hosts a Special Workshop on Proper Interaction with People with Disabilities
Today, Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 10 AM, a special workshop titled “Proper Interaction with People with Disabilities and Understanding Their Differences” was held in the seminar hall of the College of Islamic Sciences. The workshop focused on how to interact and collaborate with individuals with disabilities, as well as conducting a survey on the situation of people with disabilities.
Among the activities of the “Disability Awareness and Advocacy” and “Education and Outreach“ departments of the College of Islamic Sciences, there was the organization of this workshop for the professors and staff of the college, specifically addressing the issues related to people with disabilities and their integration into various sectors, including public spaces and institutions.

On Sunday, November 3, 2024, the Department of Religious Education at the College of Islamic Sciences at University of Sulaimani made a special workshop on guidelines for academic integrity under the title:
‘Guidelines for Academic Integrity and their Impact on the Advancement of the Educational Process at the University.’
This workshop was presented by the instructors (Dr. Ismail Mohammed Jalal, Dr. Abdullah Qurbani Karam, Teacher Rezhan Mohammed Ali, and Assist. Teacher Shkar Osman Hamafraj). It is worth mentioning that a large number of the department’s faculty members and professors from the College of Islamic Sciences participated. At the end of the workshop, a full discussion took place with the participants, with feedback shared on the subject matter of the topics covered.
