Today, Tuesday, 28/1/2025, at 10:00 AM in the Seminar Hall of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Sulaimani, esteemed (Prof. Dr. Sabah Mohammed Barzinji), Head of the Zahawi Center and a university professor, presented a seminar under the title: “The Importance of Poetry and Literature in Culture and Civilization” as part of the series of winter semester seminars organized by the college. It is worth mentioning that the seminar was conducted with the presence of the respected Dean of the College, (Dr. Khalid Ahmed Mustafa), and the Deputy Dean, (Dr. Omer Jumaa), along with a large number of professors, students, and staff of the college. During the seminar, Dr. Sabah Barzinji scientifically and comprehensively shed light on the significance and importance of poetry and literature in culture and civilization.
It is notable that this series of seminars will continue with the aim of benefiting from the experiences and expertise of influential and accomplished personalities outside the college, as well as enhancing the capabilities of our professors through interactions with experienced and academic figures within the community.
